It's easy, now that the holiday's are upon us, to get caught up in doing, doing, doing...Thanksgiving, Birthday's, Christmas, and everything that comes along with them. It can be so easy to let slip your practice - just today, after making 52 cupcakes for my sons school, I didn't have time to do my third workout of Pilates. I generally do yoga and meditation first thing in the morning, then walk 3 miles after I walk my son to school, and then do 30 minutes of Pilates based exercises around midday. But, sometimes life just squeezes itself in, and something has to be sacrificed. One could dwell on this, and beat oneself up about it, or just let it be. There is always tomorrow to get right back on track. Here is a quote I recently came across....
Your sacred space is where you can find yourself again and again.
Joseph Campbell
So even if you get off track with your yoga practice, or meditation, or exercise routine, or eating wisely...you can always come back to the Self, and beigin again.
